Summary
Jesus and God the Father were there when they made covenant with Abram, and Jesus became the guarantor of the old and new covenants! Deep stuff today as we talk about the first six covenants God made with mankind.
And God never breaks His promises or covenants!!
This morning we’re going to step back and look at the the first six of God’s eight covenants. The last two we will dig into next week…
We’ll discover that every covenant reveals the same unchanging God, the same gracious plan of redemption, and ultimately points to one Person—Jesus Christ.
By the end of today, I hope you’ll see that the Bible is really one magnificent story—not many stories—but one story of a God who relentlessly pursues His people and keeps every promise He has ever made.
