Summary
Over the past two weeks we’ve seen that every covenant God has made is still active in exactly the way He intended, and every one of them points us to Jesus Christ.
Today we’re going to continue to dig a little deeper on the Abrahamic covenant.
In Genesis 15, Abraham never walks between the sacrificed animals.
God the Father AND Jesus does!
The smoking furnace and the blazing torch pass through the pieces while Abraham watches in amazement.
Why?
Because God was declaring that He alone would guarantee the covenant.
Even more astonishing, He was declaring that if mankind broke that covenant, He Himself would pay the penalty.
Today we’re going to follow that blazing torch from Abraham… through every covenant…all the way to the Millennial Kingdom!
And what we’ll discover is that from Genesis to Revelation there has only ever been one plan of redemption, one faithful Covenant Keeper, and one Savior.
His name is Jesus Christ.
