Summary
Today …we step into a moment of deep intensity — a moment when Jesus Himself walks into the heart of Israel’s worship, the Temple, and does something few would have ever expected.
And all four Gospels record this event…
That temple was destroyed in 70 AD. Where is God’s house now?
It’s not a building…Those who belong to Christ — the Church — we are now where God’s Spirit dwells.
His presence is no longer confined to stone walls in Jerusalem.
It fills those who put their faith in Jesus all over the world.
And just as Jesus once entered the Temple to cleanse it, He still enters His temple today — our hearts —
to cleanse,
to restore,
to drive out what does not belong,
and to make us once again a house of prayer for all people.
