Have you ever felt like you are being sifted?
Like everything around you is being shaken?
Like the trials and challenges you are facing are just too much?
Have you ever had a moment when life suddenly turned, and you realized—this just got real?
Maybe it was sitting in a doctor’s office and hearing the word “cancer.”
Maybe it was a phone call in the middle of the night.
Maybe it was the moment you realized your job, your marriage, or your future wasn’t as secure as you thought.
It is in seasons like this that God is pruning us, growing us, and that we realize change can be painful!
Our text today will start with Jesus informing Peter that Satan wants to sift him like wheat.
And He tells the disciples everything is about to change… It’s about to get real!
