Testing, Trials, and Temptations Luke 22:43-53

Summary

ave you ever felt the weight of a test so heavy that you could hardly breathe?
The kind that shakes your world, tests your faith, and leaves you wondering where God is in the middle of it?
In Luke 22, we see Jesus facing His own ultimate test — in the Garden of Gethsemane, sweating drops like blood, wrestling in agony, and yet surrendering to the Father’s will:
“Not My will, but Yours be done.” (Luke 22:42).
This moment shows us something profound:
even the Son of God, perfect and sinless, was not exempt from the pain of testing.
But through His submission, we learn how to face our own trials with faith instead of fear.
Every temptation, every hardship, every dark night of the soul — they are all opportunities for God to shape us, strengthen us, and bring forth fruit that lasts.
