Summary
And now, in Acts 8, the gospel is about to cross a line it has never crossed before.
Not into Judea.
Not into another Jewish town.
Into Samaria — the place no Jewish preacher would go.
The place where the hatred ran so deep that the disciples once asked Jesus to call down fire from heaven.
Why Samaria?
Because Jesus had already been there.
Years earlier, He sat at a well with a woman who had been married five times, told her everything she ever did, and said, “I who speak to you am He.”
She ran into town and told everyone.
And the Samaritans believed.
Now Philip is following in His footsteps.
Same message. Same Messiah. Same living water.
